Technical Seminar on “LNG (FSRU) in Bangladesh” was jointly organized by IMarEST Bangladesh Branch and Nautical Institute Dhaka Branch on 22 Sep 2018 at Hotel Sarina , Dhaka, from 1530 hrs to 1730 hrs.
Summit Group is the first company in Bangladesh, to deliver LNG through FSRU from Deep Sea port in Matarbari, Chittagong. Mr. Alam gave a presentation on how the total project was executed.
Key note speaker was Mar Engr Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Project In-charge LNG FSRU project of Summit Group, Bangladesh, he is from 12th Batch of Bangladesh Marine Academy and before taking his present job responsibility he was posted as principal surveyor of DNV GL in China and Vietnam.
Total attendance of Members and Invited guest were 75.
